WATERBOM report
December 1st, 2009, finally, I could have a chance to go to WATERBOM!It’s in the great location in the center of Kuta, the water leisure land. You might think that “Why do I want to go to the pool in the southern island?” but, actually, it’s fun!! There are many kinds of slider attractions, Euro Bungy, new spa, and interesting facilities, etc.! I took time from early morning to 3:00 pm for the report!☆

| I left my office at 8:30 am. I arrived there 9:00 am, just opening time of WATERBOM! | |

| From the entrance, there is the shop on the right side. There are bathing suits, water-proof cameras, swimming rings, and some surfing brand. | You can purchase the colorful and cute bathing suits from Rp.150,000〜. You can get one on the day. |

WATERBOM has the prepaid system that you pay money for attraction fees in the counter and charge in the splash band. (Left picture) In the park, you don’t use money but they take charge by reading barcode on your band. So, you don’t need to bring your valuables. You can charge at the counter or “TOP UP CORNER” in the park. |
| There are the balance check booths in the park, so you can check the money balance. If you use up all balance, you need to charge again. So that you have to go back to take your wallet, but it might be annoying. I recommend you to charge enough money on it at first. Of course, you can get refund that you didn’t use in the park. I charged Rp.100,000 at first. The deposit for the band is Rp.5,000 so I have Rp.95,000 for attraction fees now. Is it too short? |

| Anyways, I have to change my clothes! Rental towel is Rp.10,000. But, they take deposit Rp.60,000, so I alrealy use Rp.70,000 and my balance is Rp.25,000 now. The deposit will be refunded when I return the towel, but I feel like I already used up my money! |

Deposit is Rp.30,000. Lockers on the picture are small ones. I already have no money on my band, so I asked T-Manager to pay from his band. |

| I walk around before I use up my energy for attractions. In the green building site, there are big and small pools, sliders, attractions, restaurant, shops, spa, and gazebo, etc. so we can enjoy this park in many ways!! It’s big place so I tend to lose my way, but there are English direction signs in the park. | |

| In the center of the park, there is the big pleasure pool! Oh, I want to jump in! There are also volleyball net in the pool, the pool bar, and sun chairs around it. I wish I could go to the pool bar from the beginning… but I’m big enough to control my desire. | |

There are many fun places for kids in safe. My best recommended attraction is Bombastic. （Left picture） There is the jungle gym in 20 cm shallow pool. When the bucket on the top of jungle gym is filled up water… |

| Tyr easy one first, we go to Lazy River! So called “Lazy,” it is the slow floating pool. We just drift on the yellow swimming rings. One round takes 5 to 10 min. Personally, I want to keep drifting forever. | |

| Single ride slider, Jungle Ride! Sliding down through green trees, and turning many times on the way. At first, I was scared and shouted, but I could get used to the sliding speed soon. Even, I could take pictures by my water-proof camera! It’s nice attraction.♪ | |

| 【Smash Down】 The number 1 screaming slider! Sliding down the maximum 60 degrees steep slope with 70 km/h speeding. 【Boggie Ride】 Sliding down by laying down on the sheet on yellow lanes. There are 2 lanes so you can compete with somebody. 【Race Track】 Competing sliding speed by using 2 lanes. High degrees of steep slope. I climb up stairs of 90 steps and arrive at the top. It’s nice view from higher place, but if I think about sliding from here, I become blue. The sliding slope is higher steep than I expected!! Ohhh, I want to go back… Before you try sliders, please check this. 【Notice for Sliders】 ・Prohibited to wear jeans pants. ・Cannot wear glasses or sun glasses during the ride. Slide taking off and holding them on hands. ・Cannot slide wearing pants and T-shirt with metals. ・Children are limited who have heights below 112 cm. |

| This is really scary. I cannot see the ground if I look down from the starting place of sliding…as falling into the bottomless pit. One after another, brave challengers fall down in the hole, and I hear their screaming voice… I was thinking that I don’t want to try, I want to go back, however, my turn is coming. Moreover, they said that I cannot wear jeans short pants that I wear top of bathing suits, and I take off my pants there. Please remember that you cannot wear jeans-cloth bathing suits. I hold my short pants, and I fall down without thinking anything! After a moment of darkness, suddenly I fly out to the brightness, “Help me!!!! …” It’s too steep slope and I cannot see the bottom!! With spray, I just fall down in 3 seconds… I couldn’t think anything. I don’t want to try, I never try it again. |

| Buggy Ride is the yellow lane. This one starts from lower point than Smash Down, so you feel easy and enjoy the attraction! We have to bring a light sponge-like blue sheet from the down stair. This attraction also prohibits wearing jeans pants, so I take off it at the starting point and let’s go! My face wet by spray, but it’s fun to slide alone, and you can enjoy competing with friends. | |

| Race Track starts from lower place than Smash Down, but as you see, it’s high steep slope! The scariest point is the starting point, but there are 2 waving places on the way and my body almost flies forward. I competed with T-Manager, and the result is, I lose… Maybe, it’s because weight differences? If you want to try the fastest speed sliding, lie on your back and cross your arms in front of chest. | |

| It locates in east part of the park, Boomerang & Super Bowl. They are the popular water attractions that are different taste than sliders! As you see in the picture, everybody is on line bringing the single ride or the double ride boats. | |

| From the starting point, throughout falling down on the dark tunnel and go into the bowl-shape slider!! 2 round…, 3 round…, rounding in the bowl, and at the end, falling down to outside from the hole in the center. I felt thrill when I went into the first tunnel, but after that it was really enjoyable attraction. Maybe, the double ride rounds many times with weight? | |

| I thought Boomerang is scary as same as Smash Down… At the beginning, floating 8-round shape slide, and falling down to the schuss slope at a stretch, and then, going into such a high boomerang movement!! It wouldn’t be overturned in such degrees?! It wouldn’t be flied out?! It slides really high so I felt the strong weightlessness of falling down. If you seek farther height, you had better try the double ride with man… | |

| Yes, this one! I have been interested in Euro Bungy. （Rp.60,000/ 5 min.）
How is the feeling to jump up to such height!! I’m so exciting! I wear the harness and hold ropes on both sides, and jump up! When I try… yeah, it’s really high! The bounding impact is big!! While I’m jumping in lower place, it’s just fun and I can turn back round easily with bending my knees. I feel good when I jump, however, as jumping higher… I couldn’t stand the strong weightlessness of falling down. Finish taking pictures, I just quit, “I’m done!!” … Like this, this is the strong impact attraction. But it’s rare attraction and the price is very cheap, Rp.60,000! I strongly recommend that you try it once. |

| This is not screaming attraction, Water Blaster. （Rp.30,000 for 2 persons） Each person has a bucket with water balloons and uses the lubber band to throw the water balloon to each other. If the balloon hits the button in the right way, the water fall down from top of the opponent and make getting wet. This game is popular among tourists coming from abroad. | |

| The last attraction is Wall Climbing. （Rp.30,000） T-Manager supposed to try this attraction, however, he was told that they have weight limit of over 80 kg persons. He gave up, and I tried it instead of him… You see my tired face on the picture, but please forgive me. I wear the harness covers whole body, and I climbing up from the mattress without wearing shoes. The sunshine side of the wall is heated and too hot to grab, so I tried the shadow side of the wall. If I could reach the top, I can blow the trumpet so I just tried, but I couldn’t reach. It’s easy to go down, I just rely on the wire without grabbing the wall. |

| I’m too tired and almost die. I cannot move anymore!! So, we take a rest. I drink banana lassi (Rp.25,000） with rest of my money in the band. It’s light taste, good! |

| Finally, I reached the pool. I worked hard, so it’s okay to enjoy there, right? The depth is about 1 to 1.5 m, and I could enjoy the resort atmosphere with short number of people. Oh, I want to drink! | |

| There are many sun chairs all over the park. It must be nice time to get suntan and read books on such a green grass. I tried to take a nap to hide from T-Manager, but I was found and we went back to the office… I will come here again on my holiday!! Today’s report is over, thank you very much! | |
The first visiting to WATERBOM. My conclusion is, it’s really really fun, even I’m thinking about visiting next time!! I thought that WATERBOM has many screaming attractions for active persons only. When I visited, they have many other attractions such as the floating pool (Lazy River), Pool Bar, and Gazebo, etc. besides Smash Down and Boomerang for screaming attraction lovers.
